Reflection
Vincent Prisinzano, My father, was an amazing man. Whether you knew him a Dad, Papa, Mr. Prisinzano, Vincent, Vince, Vinnie, or Vincenzo to know my Dad was to know the epitome of kindness, love, devotion & emotion.

My father would be overwhelmed and humbled with the outpouring of love and support that each of you has shown over the past days and weeks. On behalf of my mother, my sister, and the rest of our family I cannot thank you enough for...

When I was a young girl I was in awe of my father. In my eyes he was a giant and a pillar of strength. It was not until I became a woman and mother that I was able to realize how right my intuition was as a child. In time I came to realize that his strength was not necessarily  physical but lied in his devotion to my mother, his children, his family, and his friends. His strength and devotion was absolute and unwavering.

My father truly lived the American Dream...He was born 82 years ago in a small town in Sicily. He was raised in an orphanage by priests in the shadow of a World War. While living at the orphanage my father learned a trade that would serve him until his last days. He married the woman he loved, traveled an ocean by boat, built a successful business, and built a home to raise his family.

If I know my Dad I can say with confidence that there is not a person here who knew my father that did not either share a glass of wine or meal with Dad. He was always so warm and inviting with who ever came his way.

His wife...Lillian...married 54 years on last Monday. They had an incredible journey together. He was an amazing husband who would do anything for my mother. They were inseparable.

His children...Maryann & I...dad always taught us right from wrong, to have strong morals, family values and a good work ethic. It was so important to him to raise good daughters. We will continue to instill that in our children.

My husband Wayne & my bother-in-law Chris-two Irish guys who now make homemade wine and jar tomatoes. My dad took them in from day one and treated them as if they were his. He truly enjoyed their company. He loved them so much.

His grandchildren...Tyler, Alexa, Andrew, Brooke, Maxx, and Morgan. Papa absolutely loved and adored each and everyone of you in your own special way and equally. He was so proud of all your accomplishments. Papa had a difficult time expressing that in words, but we always knew when he would cry tears of joy.

Sunday dinners were his favorite day of the week where he could just sit back and relax with his whole family surrounding him, eating and drinking. If anyone was ever missing..."Where's Wayne?, Where's Tyler?" He wanted all his family there all of the time. He was such a happy man who loved his family very much.

My father will live on in me and I trust that when you reflect on your own relationship with my Dad that in some way he will continue to live on with you.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what I wanted to say and believe me when I tell you that I could go on an on, but after much thought and reflection on the wonderful life and person my father was I came to the conclusion that the best way to eulogize my dad was through song. For anyone who knew my father you knew that he had a passion for music. I see part of my Dad in my daughter Morgan as they share the same passion. So dad, before we all say our final goodbyes, Morgan would like you to hear her play in one last recital.

Dear Papa,
     There area no words to describe how much we love you. We will cherish the countless memoires we shared with you.
     I'll miss seeing you every Sunday with the family. It will never be the same without you. I'll miss the fun things we do in Chautauqua every year with you, from boating to delicious Italian dinners together. I'll miss you coming to all the piano recitals you can come to and when I look over I love seeing how proud you are of me. I loved the four years of playing saxophone, which you influenced me to do. I loved it and I never thanked you for the saxophone you gave me to start off a great four years. I'll miss being at your house hearing you playing piano in the background and I could see how happy you were while playing. Life will never be the same. I love you and I'll miss you more than words can explain. You're in a better place now and I know you're in peace.

Dear Papa,
     Words cannot explain how much I truly love you. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have grown up with someone like you in my life. You possessed so many qualities that I will continue to admire. No matter where you were or what you were doing, you always appreciated life. I've never met anyone with so much patients and grace. One of my fondest memories is sitting with you after Sunday dinners, finishing off the leftover salad. Sitting on your lap while we cleaned out the bowl with our forks was something I will never forget. From singing and dancing around while you played your Italian piano melodies, to countless Chautauqua walks, the memories I shared with you will stay close to my heart. I was also a huge fan of all of the stories you'd tell. I loved hearing about your past experiences-they never failed to amaze me or make me laugh! Your smile was contagious and you always lit up the room with your playful spirit. Ill miss you so much and as I live the rest of my life, I know I'll always remember your strength, your grace, your peace and your love. I know you'll be looking down on us from Heaven and don't worry...we'll make sure everyone eats! I love you with all my heart.

Dear Papa,
     Words can't describe how much our family will love and miss you. But me Specifically, I will miss receiving and giving you kisses every time I saw you. I loved and appreciated how proud you were of both me and Morgan, like when you would start to cry... Yes papa we all knew, but your coughing to cover it up was the thing that made me smile the most. You and your stories inspire me each and everyday to take opportunities and work hard and to be my best self. The kindness in your big heart was the kind you don't see often. I would like to thank you for every single thing you have given me, including my beautiful mother who knows I love you more than anything-(she bragged about you a lot at home :). I will forever miss the countless memories and laughs I have shared with you. I love you more than anything in this whole entire world. I am so lucky and honored to call you my Papa.

Dear Maryann and Prisinzano Family,

Dear Lillian and family,
we want to express our deep condolences for the passing of our deer Vince.  He was a great man and a wonderful friend.
