

Beloved husband of 59 years to Constance (nee Skalski) Waible; devoted father of Kirk (Sarah) Waible and Joyce Kromke; cherished grandfather of Grace Kromke, Ryan Kromke, Jackson Waible and Erik Waible; loving son of the late Carl and Ellen (nee Rifley) Waible; dear brother of Roger (Judy) Waible; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Retired Justice William Waible service has been a true benefit to the Town of Clarence and the wider Western New York community. He dedicated over 25 years as Clarence Town Justice, consistently demonstrating exemplary character and graciousness, both inside and outside the courtroom.
Following his education at the University of Rochester and Albany Law School, Justice Waible began his journey as Clarence Town Justice in 1982. His legal career spanned more than 40 years, including roles as a criminal and civil lawyer, arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, Administration Hearing Officer for the Erie County Health Department, and counsel to the Erie County Legislature. Alongside his legal work, he devoted 21 years as a Professor at Erie Community College, sharing his knowledge and guiding future professionals.
Justice Waible’s commitment extended well beyond his professional life. He actively participated in numerous community organizations, such as the Clarence Concert Association, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Liaison Committee, Community Action Organization Board of Directors, Friends of the Clarence Library, and the Council of Advisors at Villa Maria College. His dedication to youth development was evident in his time spent coaching soccer, softball, and baseball.
Justice Waible’s service and generosity left a lasting impact on Western New York, and his legacy will continue to inspire others.
Relatives and friends may visit DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., on Sunday (May 31, 2026) from 10am – 12noon. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12noon.
