STACK - Bart J. Jr., August 4, 2014, beloved husband of the late Marlana J. Mix; dear father of Bart J. (Mary Shaun) Stack III, Kate (Dale) Blanar, Marlana J. (John) Dembik, Colleen M. (Brian) Lynch; grandfather of Adam (Barbara) Blanar, Matthew (Melissa) Blanar, Bart J. Stack IV, Ryan (Courtney) Blanar, Tyler (Aprile) Blanar, Katlin (Brandon Murray) Stack, Zachary (Hilary McLaughlin) Dembik, Meghan Dembik, Chad Blanar, Tara Shaye Lynch; great-grandfather of Caleb, Mackenzie, Kyleigh, Miranda, Cameron and Reed; brother of the late Mary P. Stack and Patricia White. Friends may call Thursday 4-8 PM at the WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 784 Main St., East Aurora. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Bart and his wife Marlana Friday at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 520 Oakwood Ave., East Aurora. Bart was a veteran of the US Navy, served as a police officer for the Town of Tonawanda and became a zone sergeant for the NYS Police Troop A. He retired in 1980. Mr. Stack was past president of the Buffalo Ancient Order of Hibernians and a member of the Association of Former NYS Troopers, and was selected as a Buffalo Ambassador from the Buffalo Convention & Visitors Bureau. Flowers gratefully declined.
