GROVER - Carl Nicholas, of East Aurora, departed this life on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the age of 81 to return to the loving arms of our Lord. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Lucille (nee Shiltz); loving father of seven children Kathleen, Joseph, Daniel, Paul, Jeffrey, Diana and Robert; beloved grandfather of Jackie, Jessica and Stephanie; dear brother of Nicholas (Alice), David (Phyllis), Anne (Pete) and predeceased by Joan (Michael), Ronald (Kay), Richard and Shirley. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 784 Main St., East Aurora. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 AM at St. George’s RC, 74 Old Glenwood Rd., West Falls. Burial will held at St. Nicholas’s Cemetery in North Java. Carl was an active 4th Degree member of Bishop Burke Knights of Columbus and was an usher at St. George’s Church for 40 years. Please join us to celebrate his life.
