Beloved husband of Virginia Minkel (nee Burger). Loving father of Kimberley (Mark Shepard) Minkel-Shepard, Joseph Minkel, Robin Minkel, and Karen (Eric) Keyes. Cherished grandfather of Jacob Charles Shepard, Allison Katherine Shepard, Liam Parker Keyes, and Ani Louise Keyes. Brother of Arlene (Norbert) Langa, Shirley (late Peter Becker and late Bob Matevia) Becker, Carol (late Norman) Kehl, and the late Dorothy (Ray) Reisdorf. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Leona Minkel. Also survived by his loving dog, Josie, and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Longtime volunteer fireman of Strykersville Fire Company, owner of Stryco Construction, and school bus driver for Attica Central Schools.
