Emily Shaffer (nee Sawicki) of Hopkins, Minnesota passed away on June 16, 2025; Beloved wife of Michael Shaffer; devoted mother of Jai Shaffer; loving daughter of Michael (Karen) Sawicki and Mary (Robert) Williams; dear sister of Melissa (Paul) Speck and step sister of Michele (Larry) Covino, Diane (Carl) Feasley and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Smith; also survived by many loving family. A Memorial Service will be held at Wood Funeral Home, 784 Main Street, East Aurora, NY 14052, on June 27, 2025, from 11 am to 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emily's memory to Washburn Center for Children at https://washburn.org/donate1/. Burial will be held privately for the family.
