I really cared for George and I'm devastated to find that he is gone.  I just find out via my computer.   He was my great buddy from when he worked in Aiken, SC and we kept in touch since then.   I'm sorry for your lost of a great guy.....I will miss him so much.   My prayers and thoughts are with you.

I just learned of George's passing today and I feel so bad for not knowing.  My sincere condolences to you, Lisa, Mary, and their families.

George was the first friend that was truly on the same wavelength as me.   We had so many fun times, ones I still tell my kids about  riding our ten speeds to East Aurora to goof off, taking bicycle camping trips to my grandparents, riding dirt bikes (George was the one who got me hooked on motorcycles  I envied his TY-80 & TC-125), skiing at Mt. Emery and KB, going to concerts (Tom Petty was the first and it was awesome), working on our first cars (my Jeep and George's '63 Bel Air), going to the Como 8 and Delevan Drive-In in the Bel Air, and general hanging-out and having a good time.  We just clicked.

We lost contact after high school and I always thought about stopping by your house when driving down Rt. 16 to re-connect with George, but I didn't.  I truly regret that now.

Please know that I have many fond memories of George and I feel extremely fortunate to have grown-up with him.
