    It was the winter of 1999 my daughters 18th birthday . We rented a hot tub that was put in our driveway for her party . It was snowing with temps in the 20s . We thought the kids were nuts but we had the hot tub for the whole weekend . So I invited Jim over and that Saturday night very late we, Jim my wife and I were out in the snow in the hot tub drinking baileys Irish cream and just having fun . It is just one of our favorite memories of Jim. The other time that stands out for me was when He moved to Pennsylvania I was very sad to see him leave but also very happy for him at the same time because he had found Faith and was in love. Faith you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. You and Jim had a special love and it was selfless throught the end. Jim was a great guy and I'm glad I was blessed with the opportunity to meet him. He will forever be a part of all the memories that we all share.

Jim was my dear friend all my years at St. John Fisher and for many years following. He was known as "Captain" at SJFC. I have so many great memories of our time together, it is hard to sum them up in a few words. A few things that come to mind: talking about movies we loved, Cap breaking Tony and Eddie's door in Haffey Hall, trips to the comic book stores in Rochester and Syracuse, Jim coming to my wedding, visiting me in Cazenovia, visiting him in Holland, traveling to John Gaspari's wedding, many sub runs in East Rochester and Todd Vallie and I shouting out "Eugene!" as he walked across the stage to receive his diploma at Fisher. I can go on and on. He was a wonderful person, my friend and I loved him. I will always remember and miss him.

May the Doyle family have peace and great and fun remembrance in this tough time.  I remember Jim as a very kind hearted guy while he was in school.  Great example of what we should strive to be like.

Jim was a great friend of mine for so long, I have so many great memories of him.  You will be missed my friend.

I will always remember Jim as the happy boy that became a wonderful man. I love that Jim is smiling in every picture I will always remember him that way.  Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I had met Jim several times at Faith's mom's place and always thought he was a really nice man.  I could tell from the first time I met him that he was right for Faith, and that he would make her a good and loving husband.  I'm very glad to have known him.

I will always remember the several 4th of July's Dawn and I were able to share with Jim and Faith. He has been a childhood friend since I was 4 years old and he will be greatly missed.

I only met Jim once through Faith at an after work function but I liked him immediately because of the happy, laid back, honest way he had about him.  The thing that so impressed me most was that he made Faith so happy and that she loves him so. Their love and devotion to each other is beautiful.

We only saw Jim at Civil War reenactments but knew him well and will miss him. Bob and Pam Penix (Canton Ohio)

Jim was a great man.  I looked up to him and he help me come out of my shell.  He was always looking out for others.  I will never forget how much of a impact he had on my life.  I know that my life today is in large part thanks to his belief in me even when I did not.  God bless Jim.

Although I only met Jim a couple of times when Faith and I worked together the way he made he face light up with joy was amazing. Faith you have been blessed to have him in your life- prayers and hugs to you and Jim's family.
