Jean was born on August 19, 1948 to Edward and Virginia Ganas formerly of South Wales NY.
Jean was a graduate of Iroquois Central High School in Elma where she developed her love of music. She was the organist for Wales Hollow Community Lutheran Church until it was disbanded in 2016.
Jean was a bank associate and retired from Bank of America. It was while working in Orchard Park that she met her best client, Charles Gipp. They wed in 1984 and were married for 25 years until his death in 2009.
Charlie and Jean loved their cat Fritz and Jean later adopted her beloved dog Kaiser. Jean laughingly would brag about the way her animals were spoiled, from crystal goblet water bowls to nightly snacks of carrots and treats.
Jean loved most sports and was a faithful fan of her New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Virginia Ganas, her husband Charles Gipp, and her sister-in-law Sue Ganas.
She is survived by her brother Donald Ganas (Sue), by her nephew Brannan Ganas (Angela), her niece Cassidy Ganas, her niece Gretchen Ganas Buse (BJ) and her great- nephews Caleb, Grayson, and Isaac Buse.
