John had a heart of gold and greatly appreciated anything anyone would do for him or Nick no matter what it was. He was a believer in his Creator and lived by Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God " because there were so many things in life that we have no control over.
God brought him and I together thru the church Pastoral care program and we have formed a friendship that just would not quit. He was a joy to know and I am sure that if we listen closely we will hear John's jokes and the angels laughter !

John, you will be missed tremendously. Every time I walked into the sanctuary, for church, I would be filled with joy to see you sitting next to my Dad. As I would go to sit down next you, you would always give me a hug and tell me you loved me. I will miss that feeling greatly. Sundays will now be missing a great event. Something so simple, so easy, yet so heart-warming. Didn't matter how my morning was going, John's "Nice To See Ya, Take Care, Love Ya & Always Praying For Ya" was always delightful and made my day. I know you are a magnificent angel now and in a glorious place, but I will miss ya my friend. Your faith was always one of your strongest traits and I hope that I can grow into a man of your similar statue. Although you may have been a shorter guy, your love was towering. I never heard you bad mouth a thing and you were always grateful....The World Needs More People Like John Kirchberger
