I feel so blessed to have had my grandfather in my life for so long. I have many fond memories- walking at the zoo when I was a child, talking about all the "junk" movies at the Palace, hearing about his garden and his hatred of weather that wasn't at least 80 degrees, fighting over who was the favorite grandchild. Grandpa's love for his family was so big and so obvious. He beamed when he saw us and his love for great grandchildren was so touching. I'm so grateful that my girls got to meet him.

I'll miss you, Grandpa, but you'll forever be in my heart.
