Larry R. Turner

Larry R. Turner of Alden, NY. Beloved husband of June Turner; dearest father of Sean R. Turner; son of Charles R. (Kathy) Turner and the late Marguerite Turner; brother to Ann Edwards, Randy (Sandy) Turner, Susan (John) Trybuskiewicz and Kent (Beth) Turner; uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving aboard the USS Saipan as a Fire Controlman. He worked for Verizon and was a member of Communication Workers' of America 1122; served as a Chief Steward at Dyke Rd. Garage for 15 years; a Mason for several years; served as a Worshipful Master for 2 years at Mystic Art Lodge, Amherst Lodge, Volunteer with the men's group at Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Center; member of Nativity Lutheran Church for 10 years and the Tuesday Taskmasters. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday 10:30 AM at Nativity Lutheran Church, 970 E Main St, East Aurora. An inurnment will follow at Western New York National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
