I just learned about Larry's passing. I first met Larry 30 years ago when he brought his Luscomb to Dart Field. I have always enjoyed visiting with him, a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed in our aviation community.

Larry shared many special memories with me over the years since we had both grown up in South Buffalo. Once he even picked me up for lunch in a car more beat up than mine. He explained that if he drove anything nicer his employees might ask for a raise. He was such a kind man. Once he even dropped off a case of Straubs beer at our house after explaining to me why it was his favorite. He will be missed. My condolences to Shirley, Michael, Alan , Dani and all the rest  of the Erbs. You are in our prayers and I'm sure there will be lots of wonderful memories to sustain you. I am in California or I would be there to personally pay my respects.

It seemed like yesterday he had that old Cherokee stuck in the lot at the ski club and we ended up talking in the lodge after and he seemed like such a great guy to know.  I'm sorry for the loss of those left behind, he much have been widely loved by friends and family.
