Linda Schnepper Butler (nee Haworth) passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2019 at the age of 83. Linda was born on September 3, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois. She was a 1954 graduate of East Peoria High School and attended Bradley University. In 1970, Linda and her family moved to East Aurora where she called home for the next 49 years. She also wintered in St. Petersburg, Florida for over 20 years. Linda raised her family in East Aurora and worked as a dental assistant for both Dr. Raymond Hoffman and Dr. Edward Kucio. After retirement, Linda did various volunteer work within the community including work at the Fisher Price Toy Town Museum, local nursing homes and Baker Memorial Church. During her lifetime Linda loved to participate in various activities including tennis, bridge, dominos, water aerobics and socializing with family and friends. She especially loved to travel to visit family, friends and new places. Linda lived her life to the fullest, always seeing the happiness in the world, sharing her love and positive energy.
Beloved wife of Charles M. Griffin and the late Thomas L. Schnepper and the late Kenneth J. Butler. Dearest mother of Lynn K. (James) Silliman and the late Craig T. (Tina) Schnepper. Cherished grandmother of Derek (Nicole), Nicholas and Tyler Schnepper and Kathryn, Tricia and James T. Silliman and great-grandmother of Ava, Adie and Madelyn. Dear sister of Patricia (late James) Crawford. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 28 at 11AM at Baker United Methodist 345 Main Street, East Aurora. Please assemble at the church.
