I never met Marisa in person. We met on social media due to our medical similarities. In February she put a group together, 6 of us. Different parts of the country, but similar stories. It became a place for us to share and vent and laugh and encourage each other. She created a little community for us. She helped us forge friendships and support, completely without judgment, just love and respect. She was very special to me and the rest of us in our group - she helped all of us. My sincerest of condolences to her husband and children and her family and friends.

Dear Josh,Mia & Max,
I am so saddened to hear about Marisa I cannot completely comprehend it !!!
I so loved seeing you guys at Ellicott AT random family nights, science nights, extra things they had all the time Marisa would be working and we would be chatting cause the children would be running rampant, all the times you guys invited us over just to play in the basement Joseph and Jagger loved Marissa she had such a beautiful smile and so full of energy and life, Jagger use to say “Mommy I’ll play in the basement and MRS Marisa can watch me just go to work and call at lunch to check on me”!!! I will never forget all the help for the morning bus rides when I needed them!!! Thank You
Edu kids to Ellicott I am so happy that I met you all!! Josh please if there is anything you need just ask Joe and I are right around the corner! I will always hold a place for you in my heart even seeing you on your days at roswell I’d be rushing to work and you could always make me smile and feel happy and at ease !!!Rest In Peace

Dennis and I were so saddened to learn of the loss you’ve had.
I remember when you first told of us of her illness and I couldn't understand how something like that could happen to someone so young. We will continue to keep you and your entire family in your prayers. Please let us know how we may help you heal.

I was 4 years old when I met Marisa. She was my very 1st friend. I remember getting on and off the bus with her at Carolyn Lichtenberger's house and playing ThunderCats after school. She was fun and nice and smiled a lot (all very important qualities in a friend when you’re a shy 4-year-old). My heart aches at the loss of my childhood friend and words cannot properly express how deeply sorry I am. Mr. and Mrs. Musa… AJ… please know that I’m praying for you all and holding my memories of your amazing daughter close to my heart. Rest peacefully Marisa. xox

Dear Beechler and Musa families,
I’m so sorry and saddened by the news of Marisa’s passing. Marisa was a loving and generous person. She always made me feel welcome in her home. I remember our talks when I came over to babysit her wonderful children. She was always so kind and caring. I am grateful for the privilege of having known her. Rest in peace Marisa. Josh, Mia, and Max, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. 💔🙏

I am so sorry to here of this great loss! My heart goes out to all of your family! If you ever need help or a break, please let me know. I know Sloan would love to play with Max any day and we would be happy to help out in any capacity. Meals, grocery runs, kid runs, etc. love to all of you! Especially to Mia and Max!!!

I’ll never forget the day Sloan was over playing and you all had just installed the hot tub! I was thinking about that the other day, still shaking my head about the Sloan and Max adventures!
