Beloved husband of the late Christine (nee Kutas) Szymczak. Loving father of Melissa Szymczak, Melanie (Kevin) Rogowski, Cheryl Szymczak. Cherished grandfather Lylah Sayge Walker. Brother of Tadeusz Szymczak. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4 - 8 pm at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 784 Main St, East Aurora, NY 14052. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11 am at St Gabriel's RC Church, 5271 Clinton St, Elma, NY 14059. Please assemble at church. Michael dedicated 26 years of his life to Wende Correctional Facility where he worked as a correctional officer.
