He married Jeannette Arciszewski in 1952, and in 1955 joined the Army as a radio operator, traveling the world, until his term of service ended. They started their family then, and Bob worked on the railroad until Jeannette asked him to get his education as an electrician. He spent many years at Simplex Time Recorder in Cheektowaga, NY, as an electrician, then salesman, and eventually their Branch Manager, until his retirement in 1997. Vacations consisted of road trips with their 6 children in a station wagon. He was a protective, kind, and humorous man of profound Catholic faith, with a deep connection to God. Robert's wife, whom he greatly adored, passed in March of 1999. He is survived by his children, David, Susan, Bill, Brian, Kris, and Nancy, as well as 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
