I met Bob 50 years ago when I walked into Simplex Time Recorder and was hired. He was a coworker and then my boss but most of all he is a cherished friend who was with me with all the good times and some very bad ones. We had many faith talks and his was very strong. His devotion to his family was without question and his wife was the love of his life and a wonderful lady who always had a smile and a laugh to share. I miss them both but they are now together with God's arms around them.

Dad always had a great sense of humor. This one was taken just a couple of weeks ago. Imagine that...an 88 year old man creating the perfect meme. Miss him so much :(

I made grandpa a fairy garden in his honor with his favorite plant, bromeliad. Grandpa was the most generous, kind, giving and thoughtful, lovable man and I am beyond blessed to have had him in my life.

As we pass each other in life there is one person who touches you in such a special way like no other. With me it was Bob Collis aka Bob, Dr Bob. One of my first experiences was watching a man in his early eighties placing and climbing a ladder to the roof of his daughters house. As I stand below 20 years his junior in amazement as he spreads roofing compound on the needed repair.
When he came to visit Nancy and I we waited for news of Ted’s hotdogs filing for bankruptcy, however our local Burger Fi had to hire additional employees.
Mr Collis deep belief and knowledge of his Catholic faith gave better understanding on how he lead his life. I can never forget having known such a man and wished that could have been much more time. Dr Bob did remove a sliver from hand without complications.
