Bob, you will always be alive in my memory. You were the big brother I never had. You taught me how to put cards in my bike wheels so they would make a sound. You made me risk sledding down what I thought were huge hills. You taught me how to have a real snowball fight. The kind where you dip the snowball into water to freeze it. Those can hurt. You helped us make a teeter-totter at the Canavan's house. You are the one that told me not to " throw like a girl" You were just enough older than I was-- that you opened the door to the future. I was too afraid not to be a daredevil in your presence. Nothing can replace a childhood friend.

I have many fond memories of uncle Bob. Lots of holidays spent with uncle Bob, aunt Joyce, Betsy and Jenny when I was younger. He will be missed by many. Sending lots of love and hugs to the family today.

1st meet bob 1970 oversaw apt complex in our 1st apt. Became good friends many fun times dinners and party’s with wives. Celebrating our kids birthday parties their 2 girls and our son and daughter. Went deer and pheasant ( with bobs dog) hunting. We built an addition on house . Got Joyce to love lobster dinners which bob did not like ( too expensive) at dog bar where girls went to work at later. Unfortunately as years when bye we did not see each other much. But great guy I’ll never forget . Sorry for loss. Best wishes for kids families and his many friends .
