Dennis, I'm so sorry to hear of your older brother's passing. It's so hard to lose a family member, especially a sibling. I never knew Ron,( he was much older than I) but from the comments he sounds much like you, proud of his children and grandchildren and a kind person.

Please know your Dad, your Grandpa, your uncle has left with me only warm memories. He was gentle, sweet and oh my word so handsome, cute. I doubt that Ron had any idea that he was even attractive and that was his charm I think.  One of my friends was closer to Ron and her I went to see Ron off when he went off to the Marines. It was long ago but I want the family to know that even though it was 50 plus years ago since I last saw him there have been moments that I remember him, that I smile about him.
My hope is that before you know it you will
also be smiling. Your family will be in my prayers.   Janet

 Erica & Amy, I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of your loving father. I remember him being one of the FEW dads who would go to Hamlin Park & spend 3 hours watching his girls cheer for East Aurora Little Loop..but he was one of those dads. I hope you have a basketfull of loving memories to hold onto for an eternity. And you are lucky to have your mom Jean and one of my most treasured friends to be there for you to help you get thru this. I knew your dad to be quiet and shy but when he spoke of you two he would just gush with admiration.Always know he will be with you where ever you are as he will be in your hearts forever. Deeply saddened at the news of Ron's death. Ron was my close friend in high school, and a fellow Marine recruit at Parris Island, who helped me and Al Alringer make it through 12 weeks of rough life and training. It paid off for all of us in later life. He will be sadly missed but strongly remembered. Semper Fi Marine !
