Barbara and Family: I am so sorry to hear this news. I have thought of Ricky fondly over the years. I am better for having met him, shared great conversations with him.

Dear Barbara, I know I only had the chance to talk to you once, a year and a half ago, but I could hear the love in your voice that you had for Mike. I have never seen a man so dedicated to his mother and family. He was the most amazing man I have ever met.......

As I am writing this, I still can't believe he is gone. I was having kind of a lousy day and started thinking about him and how positive he always was, which is why I ended up on the internet, looking for his phone number that I lost almost a year ago. I was so hoping that there was more than one Ricky "Mike" Curzi but then I saw his sweet face on the site and I don't think I've ever been more upset to see someone leave this earth as untimely as he has.  He was the most intelligent and aspirational man I have ever known and I don't think he had enough time to do all the wonderful things he had planned for. I am so sorry for your loss, Barbara, you lost an amazing son. My prayers are with you, always.

Yesterday's service was the most beautiful I have ever attended.  The outpouring of love for Ricky, Barbara, Susan and the entire family was truly amazing.  He will be in my heart forever.

I had not seen Ricky in recent years, but I remember a sweet and personable young man who was loved by his family. My deepest sympathy goes out to Nina, Lucia, Barbara, Roxanne, and the rest of his family.

Barbara--I wish I could be there with you today. I remember when I visited Emilio there--long time ago when they wouldn't let you out. Dear Jaan..my heart aches for you but I know your strength and dedication will allow you to be enriched by Ricky's shining spirit. Through tears and raised fists, 99 years,pain and struggle, I stand united with you my true brother,and sister-and open up my heart, especially on this day.  Nancy H.

I will always think of Rick with a smile... and continue to keep him alive in my heart... He was very important part of my family… and one of the smartest young men I've had the pleasure of knowing.  His absence will be felt for a very long time... Dear Barbara… Im not sure what I could possibly say to a Mom who's lost her son at such a young age… I only know that this sorta loss is not fair, and my prayers are with you always.

I've met Ricky only a handful of times, but I have always heard from his sisters how much kindness and sunshine he always so gracefully carried and shared with those around him.
I am am deeply saddened and sorry for your family's loss. However, I am comforted to know that you are a family who will always keep his spirit and memories alive.
