With so many wonderful memories of Alex (Grandma Ahlers) the memory that I have held in my heart since the passing of my Grandfather is the love she had for him. Many times my grandpa would tell me you have nothing if you do not have love and Alex gave him everything with her love. I loved her so and I am so truly sad for your loss and I know she will be missed, but do take comfort in knowing that she is now home in the loving arms of Jesus.

Judy, our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. I'm so sorry our trip to CT wasn't just a few weeks earlier. Grandma Alex was a wonderful, warm, and compassionate person. She lived a long and full life and I have no doubt that she is so happy to be reunited with Grampa and so many other loved ones and to be in the loving arms of Jesus. Until we meet again Grandma, may you rest in peace.
