She was totally devoted to her only child and son, Harry, who predeceased her. Trusting by nature, in later life she sustained too many losses for one person to bear. Alice retired after decades at Pratt & Whitney with many good service awards. She enjoyed painting, art, antiques, the beach, especially Cape Cod and Charlestown, R.I.; also reading and traveling, flea markets, auctions, and anything artsy, creative, and beautiful. She leaves a nephew, Eugene Sestero of Middletown, and a niece, Sandra Sestero Brown of Colchester, and six grand nieces and nephews; also four lifelong dear friends Pina Canapari Shenstone and Robert and Betty Varni of South Glastonbury, and Polly Leone Frazier of East Hartford.
