Anita, Francela Douglas (affectionately known as 'Blossom', 'Aunty Blossom', and 'Aunty') 82, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was born March 10, 1942 in Jamaica a daughter of the late James and Gezita (Lynch) Douglas. She was a very generous and caring mother and grandmother. Anita was a home health care aid for Companions and Homemakers before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter; Winsome Fyffe of East Hartford,three sons; Vincent Kelly of New York, Horace (Andrea) Kelly of Jamaica and Courtney Kelly of Jamaica, 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces and 3 nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, 1 sister a niece and nephew
Relatives and friends may gather at Silver Lane Cemetery, 1280 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT 06108 at 11am with a service beginning at 11:30am.
