Brian E. Carreiro

Brian E. Carreiro, 65, of East Hartford, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at a local nursing home. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut, a son of the late John A. and Pansy (Provoncha) Carreiro. Brian was a professional wrestler, known as “The Terminator”. He won Mr. Jr. Florida Body Building Competition in the late 1970’s and loved his monster trucks. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son Troy and his wife Kim of East Hartford, who held a special place in Brian’s heart, his sister Jody Carreiro and her partner Laural Workman of East Hartford, who provided care for Brian when he first returned from Florida, prior to entering the nursing home, and his brothers David Carreiro and his wife Susan of Bolton and John Carreiro and his wife Lynn of Land O Lakes, Florida, several nieces and nephews, two granddaughters Troinell Carreiro and Kristine Citron, four great-grandchildren, and his best friend Joe DeFuria of Miami, Florida. Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
