Carolann Sawka, 71, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 after a long illness. She was born in Hartford to the late Stephen and Carol (Fauchea) Sawka. She will be dearly missed by her closes companion of 42 years, Ronald S. Chudzik. Together they shared their lives, celebrating their shared birthday of July 28th. She leaves several cousins in the area. A special thanks to Dr. Ronald Kimmel, Dr. Kamal Singh and Dr. Wilfred Elaba for their compassionate care.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 6 to 8pm at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpk., Glastonbury, CT 06033. At Carolann’s request, burial will be private.
