Estelle Rose Bobrowski

Estelle R. (Lapointe) Forrest-Strong-Bobrowski, 85, entered into eternal rest at home on Saturday, June 4, 2011. She was born on Jan. 20, 1926 in Fall River, MA, daughter of the late Theodore and Blanche Lapointe. Her early years were spent in the Frog Hollow section of Hartford and she was a proud graduate of the Putnam Academy for Girls. Estelle retired from the Hartford Insurance Group. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and a member of the Horticultural Society. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid and accomplished gardener, and looked forward to and treasured hosting and participating in gatherings of family and friends. Estelle is survived by her sons Theodore (Ted) Forrest and his wife Heidi, and William Forrest and his former wife Linda; sisters Jean Senofonte and husband Lenny, Louise Silvester and husband Michael, and Corinne Crivellone and husband Tony; a sister-in-law Beatrice Lapointe; as well as many nieces, nephews and stepchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Lapointe, her previous husbands William D. Forrest, Richard Strong and Edward Bobrowski. Estelle will be deeply missed by many. The family greatly appreciates the care and kindness provided by Hospice.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 8th at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Rd., burial to follow immediately in St. Mary Cemetery, both located in East Hartford. There are no calling hours. Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
