Faith Ann Resto

She was a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Faith excelled in her nursing career with her caring and nurturing nature. She was a loving mother who was devoted to her family. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and trips to the casino. She will be most remembered for the love of her family.

Faith is survived by her sons, Efrain Resto and his wife Jeannie of Tampa FL, Michael Resto of East Hartford, Frankie Resto and his wife Lori of Manchester; her daughters, Candy Resto of Manchester, Angela Resto and her partner Daniel Foster of Manchester; her grandchildren, Shane, Paris and Desiree Johnson, Michael, Jordan, Anise, Selena, Gabriella and DeAngelo Resto, Sheldon, Desmond and Darrien Foster; her great grandchildren, Trevor and Kylie Resto, Jada, Shane Jr., Silas, Paris Jr. Johnson; her brothers and sisters, Rose Kinney and her husband Harold of Andover, Anthony Calabrese Jr. of Vernon, June Maher and her husband Michael of South Windsor, Alphonse Calabrese of Manchester, Mark A. Calabrese of East Hartford, Deborah Concetta Raney of East Hartford, Michael Calabrese and his wife Lisa of Vernon, Virginia Calabraese-Salls and her husband R. David of Glastonbury and Stanley Calabrese and his wife Karen of East Hartford. Faith was predeceased by her son in-law Raleigh Van Johnson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 10AM, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Road, South Windsor, CT 06074. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Calling hours will be on Monday, February 20, 2012, from 6 to 8 PM, at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108.
