Helen (McLean) McTygue, 76, of East Hartford, died Wednesday March 9th at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Mt. Vernon, New York, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Margaret (Simpkins) McLean. Helen was a member of the South Congregational Church in East Hartford. She was a Figures Clerk at CT General/Signa Insurnace Company for many years. She enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles and a good mystery novel. Margaret was predeceased by her husband George O. McTygue, July 9, 2010. She is survived by her sons Graham S. McTygue of East Granby and Thomas J. McTygue of Granby. Her memorial service will be Wednesday at 11AM at the South Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes Street, East Hartford.
