Jacinthe Guay Gesuelle

Jacinthe Guay Geseulle, 62, wife of Thomas J. Gesuelle since 1995 of East Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital with her family by her side. Jacinthe Guay Gesuelle was born on July 13, 1953 in Coaticook Quebec, Canada to the late parents Rosario Guay and Fleurette Breault. Settling in Hartford, CT in 1967, she graduated from Hartford High School in 1971. She happily retired in May 2015 after 30 years working as an insurance senior claim rep. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spent time enjoying retirement with her husband. Jacinthe will be most remembered for her energy, selflessness and the love she had for her family.

Besides her husband Tom, she will be dearly missed by her three sons: Eric Dionne and his wife Katie, Jeffrey Dionne and her youngest son Matthew Dionne and his fiancée Samantha Hale, step-daughter Nicole Gesuelle and step-son Thomas Gesuelle Jr.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters and their families: Jacques Guay, Collette Guay Clavette, Michel Guay, Daniel Guay, Alain Guay, Chantal Guay Poulin, Annonciale Guay and Bernard Guay. She loved and cherished her grandchildren Nadia, Leah, Isabel, Bianca, Kyle, BellaRose, Isaiah, Xavier, RJ, Kurt and Marisa. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a period of visitation on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 5-8pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108. Services will begin on Saturday, February 20 at 9:30am at the funeral home, with a Funeral Liturgy to follow at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 36 Cambridge Dr., East Hartford.
