John A. Risley

John Anthony Risley, Sr., 73, of East Hartford, passed away on July 6, 2019. He was born in Hartford, a son of the late Robert Sr. and Rosina (Laraia) Risley. He was an automobile mechanic at Strong's Alignment in East Hartford for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Frances (Tomminello) Risley in 2015. He is survived by his daughter Laura L. Risley of East Hartford, his son John A. Risley Jr., of Newington, his sister Louise Landry and her husband Robert of Coventry, two brothers Robert Risley Jr. and his wife Jean of Coventry and Franklin Risley and his wife Denise of Lebanon, and four grandchildren Nicholas and Justin Risley, Jahnai Williams and Jalen Dukes. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister Geraldine Costa. A graveside service will be held Thursday July 11, 2019 at 11AM in Hillside Cemetery, Hillside Street, East Hartford. There are no calling hours.
