He was born in Hartford to Jorge L. Vazquez and Jacqueline Barco Cruz on April 24, 1993. He graduated from East Hartford High School. He was an intelligent young man who loved his family, animals, cooking, cars, sports, and studying history. He is loved by many for his caring nature and wonderful sense of humor. Besides his parents, he leaves his Stepmother Stephanie Antonelli of Bristol; his siblings Stephanie Vazquez and her fiancé Casey Collins, Joshua Vazquez, and Mia Vazquez of East Hartford; his niece Amiyah Collins and nephew Leland Collins of East Hartford; his grandparents Norbert Santos and Mariana Cotto Vega of Puerto Rico. He also leaves his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his dog Pookie. He was predeceased by his grandmother Carmen Vazquez; his grandfather Julio Vazquez, and his Uncle Julio Vazquez. Jorge’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
