Joseph Gennaro DiDomenico 67, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was born on December 20, 1958, in Boston, MA a son of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Hannon-Barton) DiDomenico. Joseph was passionate about cooking which took him all over the United States and various foreign ports of call working on the ship the Empire State VI and VII for the New York Maritime Academy for the last 10 summers. He retired from the food service department at Trinity College Hartford Connecticut after 20 years of service.
Joseph is survived by his beloved daughter Bella, three sisters; Jean Weidlich of West Hartford, CT, Patricia (Thomas) Stroud of South Carolina, Theresa Gibson of North Carolina, brothers Ralph DiDomenico of Connecticut, Salvatore (Ileana) DiDomenico of Florida and David (Leslie) Ellis of New York, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
