Josephine T. Krikorian, a devoted wife, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2018. Josephine was born on May 10, 1933 in Methuen, MA to Josephine A. and John B. DeQuattro. She moved to Manchester in 1948. Josephine spent over 30 years working side by side with her brother, John A. DeQuattro, as office manager of J.D. Real Estate Co. & Affiliates, a firm founded by their father in 1955. Since 2010, Josephine served as a dedicated volunteer at the John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center in Manchester comforting and encouraging hundreds of cancer patients with whom she developed many long-standing relationships. She was also involved with fundraising efforts for the Cancer Center to support Nurse and Survivorship Navigation services. She is survived by her niece Dory and her husband Scott Allmendinger and their children Sam, Sidney and Teddy; nephew John DeQuattro and his wife Kristen and their children Zach and Jackie; nephew Jad DeQuattro and his wife Carol and their children Frankie and Leo; sister-in-law Valerie DeQuattro; brother-in-law John Krikorian and his wife Mary; nephew and niece John and Amy Krikorian; nieces Sona Yacobian and Nancy Shinto; and cherished friends, Linda Buttero, Kye Cohen and Dr. Nicholas Palermo. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Sep. 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT.
