

Judith A. (Kelly) Redshaw, beloved widow of Clarence S. Redshaw, Jr. passed away with family by her side on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born in Hartford to the late John and Irene (Leonard) Kelly. She was a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Her first job was a hat maker in the Sage Allen hat department and she also worked at Travelers Insurance Company. She then took on the most important job of raising her sons while helping Clarence, her husband of 55 years, with the commercial flooring company he created. Judy loved the summers spent at the family cottage on Coventry Lake and camping at the Greenwood Hills Campground in Rhode Island. She loved watching the daily “stories” and TV Land while playing Solitaire. She proudly enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and recently shared photo albums and old family stories with them. She cherished time spent with family, especially Sunday dinners and holidays. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Clarence S. Redshaw III and his wife Deborah of Coventry, Brian J. Redshaw and his wife Eileen of Tolland; her grandsons, Zachary and David of Coventry; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, John (Jackie) Kelly. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford CT. 06108. Friends and family are welcome to gather at 10:00AM on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022 at the funeral home, a Funeral Home Service will begin at the funeral home at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, East Hartford CT. at 11:45am.
