A 1974 graduate of South Windsor High School, Laura was especially proud to have earned her college degree later in life from Albertus Magnus College—a testament to her determination and lifelong love of learning.
Laura dedicated her career to human resources at Pratt & Whitney, where she was deeply respected for her professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her colleagues. Her calm presence and thoughtful nature left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Angelo and Mary Bordieri, and her brother, Anthony J. Bordieri.
Laura is survived by her niece, Kristina Bordieri; her nephews, Andrew Bordieri and his wife Laura, and Corey Bordieri; her sister-in-law, Connie Bordieri; and her six cherished great-nieces and nephews. She was a devoted and proud aunt and great-aunt, and her family brought her endless joy.
Outside of her career, Laura found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gathering with friends for mahjong and bingo, where laughter and friendship were always at the heart of every game. A devoted dog lover, Laura was known to keep treats on hand and always had a soft spot for her own furry companions over the years.
Laura will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her legacy of love, loyalty, and gentle grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Asher House, an organization dear to Laura’s heart. https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.theasherhouse.com/pages/donate__;!!M2D_dUfSiN4E!JsILtL2nxSyHxD-7OpIqvhCi2kT7U4pH35pljiOJ7CX1J-K_-fQNByggghvOd0XjQ4bL8sQHJ_i5vk6ft6lWkcFnxOB7OppkkWafwQ$
