Lennox James Fedee

Lennox James Fedee 85, beloved husband Jeanne (Dozithee) Fedee of East Hartford and formerly of St. Lucia, West Indies, passed away on Sunday August 14, 2011 at Salmon Brook Center in Glastonbury, CT surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 12, 1926 in Castries, St. Lucia, W.I. to the late Leopold St. Juste and Ann Marie (Mitchell) Poyotte.

Lennox owned and operated Fedee’s Jewelry Establishment in St Lucia until his retirement and then he moved to East Hartford, CT. He enjoyed watching history and religious programs on television. He will be most remembered as the one who kept our religious faith alive. He was a member of the Benevolence Lodge # 1, Hanna Temple # 2 and Nathan Temple # 6 of St. Lucia.

In addition to his wife Jeanne of over 27 years, he is survived by : his sons Norman Fedee and his wife Valentina of NJ, Crispin Fedee and family of Castries, St. Lucia, Jeremiah Ismael and Wendy Sanchez of CT: his daughters, Ianthe Fedee Martyr of NY, Androy Fedee Magoulas and her husband Contace of NY, Birdette Fedee of NY, Sharon Fedee and Michael Taylor of NJ, Vera Munro and her husband Charles of CT, Bridget Roseline Emmanuel of CT, Delthia Ishmael of CT, Agnes Dosithe of CT, Rose Fedee of Trinidad W. I., and Christina Plant of England: his brothers, Constance St. Juste and his family and Gregory St. Juste and his family all in England: his sisters, Ramona Joseph of St. Lucia, and Olga Mitchell of Curacao: brother in law, Joseph Dujon of St. Lucia: sisters in law Ann Marie Delaire of CT and Theresa Fani of St. Lucia: grandchildren Jennifer “Twiggy” Fedee, Tessa and her husband Kashima , Makie Magoulas , Sharissa Fedee, Shema Fedee, Camieo Fedee, Bernard “Junior” Fedee, Alex Fedee, Kurt Fedee and his wife Gerberline, Karel ”Junior” Fedee, Terrell Fedee, Arthur Fedee Jr, Felicia Fedee, Moses Fedee, Peter, Junior Belizaire, Miranda, Marcellus Belizaire, Kally Alexander, Moussa Alexander Cleotha Joseph, Fayola Asha Dozithee and her husband Tyrone, Tyler and Yanni Nelson, Eva, nise and Jerrry Ismael Jr., Tatyanna Delaire, Robert John and Ignatius “ Vicky” Charles: many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren: along with numerous dear friends,Veronica Anderson and family, Jesse Garvin and Family, Madlene Gasper and Family, Maria Gacia and family, Georgiana & Richard Calson, Malda Raczkowski, Myers Augustine and Family, Mary Montoute and family, Irene Duncan and family and many more family and neighbors. He was predeceased by his sons Arthur Fedee and Karel Fedee

Funeral Services will be held on Friday August 19th at 8:45am at Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00am in St. Rose Church, 33 Church St. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, all in East Hartford. Calling hours will be Thursday August 18th from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
