I worked at the FDIC in East Hartford, CT and remember his warmth and smile, along with his humble humor. I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with Lou for several years. He always had a terrific attitude...someone you appreciated in the workplace.  My condolences to the family.

To the Piacenta family, I had the honor to get to work with Lou closely while at the FDIC in E. Hartford CT.  Lou was the first person I met while interviewing for a position back in 1992.  As you would expect, Lou came over and ask if I needed any assistance.  I am sure there was some humor involved remembering Lou's quick wit. I got to know and respect Lou even more while we worked together in the same group back in the late 1990's.  Lou was loved by anyone he came in contact with.  He will always be remembered as a hard working, dedicated and caring man.

To the Piacenta family After 25 years have gone by since my dad  officer   Francis Burdick  passed  I still remember  Louis  and the kindness, compassion and respect he showed my mother Dianne and my entire family when we needed it most, Officer Piacenta arranged for a police escort and pall bearers for a most memorable lasting tribute to a fallen friend and comrade.God bless this amazing thoughtful man and his family.
