Marcum G. Asiamah, 15, of East Hartford, passed away on January 11, 2011. He was born in Manchester, a son of Doris Amponsah and Kwadwo Asiamah of East Hartford. Marcum was a 9th grade student at East Hartford High School. Marcum loved life, he enjoyed sports and his friends. He was someone that liked everyone and was liked by everyone. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Michelle and brother Jason, both of England, many uncles, aunts and cousins. Visiting hours at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, will be Friday (TODAY) January 27th, from 10AM - 1PM, during this time there will be a service commencing at 12 NOON. Burial will immediately follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. There will be a Memorial and Thanksgiving service on Sunday January 29th from 9AM until 12 NOON at the Rivers of Life Ministry, 84 Talcot Drive, Vernon, CT.
