Marie Jeannette (Lafleur) Bain

Marie Jeannette (Lafleur) Bain, 81, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Raymond M. Bain, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Berlin, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Demers) Lafleur.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kind and loving nature and her great love for her family.

Marie is survived by her children, daughter Maria Lotas of East Hartford, and son Charles Bain of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., 2 grandchildren Katherine Votino and her husband John of Southington, Patricia McCarthy and her husband Sean of Manchester and 3 great grandchildren, Molly and Emily Votino and Olivia McCarthy.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 11, 2013, 11a.m. at St. Christopher’s Roman Catholic Church, 538 Brewer St., East Hartford. Burial will precede the service at 9:30a.m. in CT State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Rd., Middletown, CT. There are no calling hours.
