Marie M. Spada

Marie was the former owner of Burnside Music in East Hartford. Her interests included astrology, and she was a devoted Bob Dylan fan, throughout his career, even bringing her granddaughter to a concert of his, earlier this year. She was a rock-n-roll mom who LOVED music – the LOUDER the better.

She is survived by her sons, Tony Spada and his wife Cinthia of East Hartford and John Spada and his wife Sandi of Ellington, grandchildren; Antoinette, Olivia, Nicole, Jennifer, Dean, Chris, Kevin.

Marie is predeceased by her son Dean and sister Leandra Oberg.

Friends and family are invited to attend to attend services at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford CT 06108 on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, beginning with a calling hour from 11am-12pm, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life Service at 12noon. Burial will conclude services in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Hartford.
