Mary Ruebenstahl

Mary (Wojciechowska) Ruebenstahl, 103, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Hugo Ruebenstahl, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Riverside Health Care with family by her side. She was born in Hartford on March 21, 1911 to the late Walter and Leonora Wojciechowski. Mary graduated from St. Cyril School and then Business School. She was employed by the Hartford Steam Boiler for 40 years. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she had a kind heart and always had a smile on her face.

Mary will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Dorothy Killam and her husband Robert of Westfield, MA and Helene Milton of East Hartford; her grandchildren, David and Anne, Brian and Gail, Laura and Kenny, Lynne and Dave and Nikki Kennison; her great grandchildren, Danny and Matt, Sean and Cody, Chris and Ashley and Tyler; her great great grandson, Jonathan; her special friends, Donna Booska and Linda Bartliewski and many extended family members.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, March 26, from 3 to 7PM, at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 10AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery.
