Mary T. (Garvey) Tarascio, age 94, of East Hartford, Connecticut passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, widow of Salvatore J. Tarascio. Born in Hartford, CT on November 11, 1928, daughter of the late Thomas and Hannah (Cronin) Garvey she had lived in East Hartford for 64 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a daughter; Joan and husband Alan Maximino of South Windsor; and a son; Dan and wife Ann Tarascio of Vernon and five grandchildren; Paul, Bryan (Richa) and Keith Maximino and Sean and Morgan Tarascio; and one great grandson Salvatore Maximino.She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was predeceased by two brothers; Thomas and John Garvey and two sisters; Catherine Viveiros and Anna Loveland.
