Michael Barriosnuevo

Michael Barriosnuevo, 21, of East Hampton, passed away on September 8, 2010 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born July 13, 1989 in Hartford son of Manuel II and Roshnie (Veerasammy) Barriosnuevo. He graduated from East Hampton High School, Class of 07’. Michael was very active in sports and an avid fan of the UConn Huskies, Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Manuel Jr. of New Britain and sister Christina of East Hampton: his maternal grandmother Indranie Veerasammy of Hartford and his paternal grandparents Manuel Sr. and Blanca Barriosnuevo of East Hartford: aunts and uncles Wilfredo, Carlos, Arnold, Joseph, Shirley, Jenny and Donna all of the Hartford and Manchester area: and his special canine friend Max: along with numerous cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited on Monday Sept. 13th at 10 a.m. to the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, for a period of visitation prior to the 11:30a.m. Celebration of Michael’s Life. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be on Sunday, Sept. 12th, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to the either the East Hampton Volunteer Fire Dept, 5 Barton Hill Road, or East Hampton Ambulance Services, P.O. Box 144, East Hampton, CT 06424.
