Dear Betty and all my Cousins,
I have so many happy memories of Buddy from the Coppinger and Murray family gatherings at Knollwood and at Aunt Hannah's in East Hartford. We could count on Buddy to get the party going and lead us in singing so many Irish melodies. What a beautiful voice he had!
Sending you our love and sympathy during this time of sadness and loss.

Dear Aunt Betty and my cousins -

Trisha, Katie, Meg, and I, as well as Mom and Dad, send along to each of you all our heartfelt condolences. What fond memories I have of Bud! The smiles, the laughs, the stories, the jests, the jokes... such a profoundly Irish sense of humor. As I said to him the last time I saw him, he was his father's son. So many good times together. And I'll always be grateful for the lovely chats I had with him about visits with the family in Ireland.

Much love to all of you,
Cousin George

When Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing

I'm sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Mike before his retirement, he was one of the best Paramedics I've ever seen and worked with. Mike was also well known and well liked in the Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedic community and his professionalism and compassion for his patients was inspirational, and still is to me.

Mike was the face of the paramedic program. It was not only one of the best thing that happened to the Fire Department, it was one of the best things to ever happen in East Hartford's history. A great guy!

Mike retired three years before I started in 1994, but I enjoyed meeting him and talking with him. I was one of so many EHFD paramedics who benefited directly from his research and pioneering spirit in emergency medicine.

Thoughts and condolences from our family to yours.
