Michael Scott Schade

Michael was born on Sept. 16, 1965 in Hartford, CT. He attended East Hartford High School, was employed by Folsom Construction and was an active member of the Polish American Club.

Michael was a devoted and loving father to his daughter, Amanda.

He enjoyed spending his time fishing and cooking.

Michael is survived by his cherished daughter Amanda Lynn Schade, his parents Irene Mislivets Schade, Chub Freeman, and John Michael Schade, brothers Sean Schade of Cedar Park, TX., Josh Schade of Mount Gilead, OH., Kevin Freeman, sister Kim Boyd of Mount Gilead, OH., Tamra Rome of East Hartford, and Bonnie Schade of Ashland, MA. Michael also leaves behind to cherish his memory aunts and uncle Janet Wenis, Shirley Bahler, Debbie Griffin, Bobbie Oswecki , Pat Palmer, Diane Millspaugh and Thomas Schade, cousins Karen Buell, Diane Jordan, Doreen August, Brenda Strogoff and Mike Strogoff and many nieces and nephews.

Michael is predeceased by Glen and Liz Bahler, John and Geneva Schade.

Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 4-7pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT. 06108. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Amanda’s college education was important to Michael. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the college fund for Amanda Schade, care of Bank of America, 805 Main St., East Hartford, CT. 06108. Please contact the funeral home for assistance.
