Pauline Rheaume Morissette

Pauline (Rheaume) Morissette of Bloomfield passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2015. She was born in Saint-Georges, Quebec Canada to the late Alberic and Marie-Jeanne Lemay Rheaume. Moving to Hartford in 1962 she resided in Bloomfield and was also a long time resident of East Hartford where she was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church. She was a loving mother devoted to her family, always available for advice, guidance and unconditional love. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening and her arts & crafts. She will be most remembered for her family devotion but her greatest joy were her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and her faithful companion (her cat) Minou. She will be dearly missed by her sons Michel of Manchester, Rene and his wife Linda of Ellington, Bernard and his wife Janine of Stafford Springs, Stephane and his wife Katie of East Hampton and John and his wife Tammy of South Windsor, her brother Clement of Quebec, Canada and her sisters Genevieve of Florida and Pierrette of Quebec, Canada. She will also be truly and dearly missed by her Grandchildren Jessica, Danielle, Ricky, Tiffany, Eric, Sara, Dane, Mitchell, Justin and Shane, also her Great Grandchildren Chase, Avery, Jackson and Rylee and her dear and close friend Elisa Amaral. She was predeceased by her sisters Isabelle, Monique, and her brothers Romuald and Germain.

Friends and family are welcome to gather for a period of visitation on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 9-10am at St. Mary’s Church, 15 Maplewood Avenue, East Hartford, CT 06108. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately at 10am.

Burial will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery, 930 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Pauline (Rheaume) Morissette may be made to: CDF (Celiac Disease Foundation) 20350 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 240, Woodland Hills, CA 91364.
