Petronilla "Hillary" Henville

Petronilla “Hillary” Henville, 56, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May, 30, 1959 in St.Lucia to Simone (Jules) Henville and the late Claudius Henville.

She graduated from Goodwin College as a CNA. She moved to the United States in July 2002 and has resided in East Hartford for the last 13 years. She was a parishioner of the East Hartford Catholic Community Churches. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed prayer groups and was always ready to help spending most of her time caring for others. She will be most remembered for her ability to make people laugh, forget their problems for a minute by directing their focus to Christs words, always ready to pray with her family and others. She was a generous kind person. Always loving and full of life. She will be dearly missed forever.

In addition to her mother Simone, she is survived by her sisters, Christina Abraham and her husband Andrew of East Hartford, Cecilia Francis of East Hartford; her 8 children, Sherelyn Jules, Gale Henville-Jalim, Wendy Henville, Lenardo Henville, Petal Henville, Natalia Henville, Ainise Henville, Nadel Henville; her 14 grandchildren; many nieces and nephew; her dear friends, Maureen Meyers, Anita Morrison, Rachel La Bretque, Peggy Solimene, Irene Legasse, Linda Le Fleur and a host of friends and relatives too numerous to mention.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at St. Mary Church, 15 Maplewood Ave., East Hartford. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
