Hi Phil, This is Tan from Malaysia, I just heard the bad news. I am so shocked and saddened now. The last time I saw you was in January 2016, it was very cold in East Hartford. I never thought that would be the last time I saw you, and the last 5 days I spent with you.
I remember vividly I met you when I was 21 (1985) and we were together until I left for my home country, Malaysia in April 1994. That was the best nine years of my life. You have taught me so much in those nine years. I miss the way you called me "kid" from the first day I met you and still called me “kid” in your last email to me in 11/2018.
Phil, you will be missed greatly by me, I will miss you more so on your birthday of Oct 18 because from this year onwards, I can’t say Happy Birthday to you anymore.
Phil, Rest In Peace, I love you always!
p/s: I'm trying to get in touch with both of Phil’s sisters Katherin and Rosemary who I had met before. Kindly have them contact me at +60 132860063 (WhatsApp or Viber) please.
I really would like to know what happened to Phil, why he was gone in such a sudden.
Thank you very much!
