

Raymond Laud is survived by his wife of 40 years Arlene Laud of East Hartford, children; Kadijah Laud of Middletown, Kay-Ann Laud of Hamden, and Raymond Laud Jr. of East Hartford, siblings; Steve Cammock of Englewood, New Jersey, Ernest Cammock Jr, Ruth Cammock, Juliet Cammock, Karlene Cammock, Susan Cammock, Kimberly Cammock, and Shirley Campbell of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Robert Anderson of Bronx, New York, and Alan Foster of Calgary, Canada, Brother-in-law Dudley Campbell of Port ST. Lucie, FL, Brother-in-law Lee Williams of East Hartford, CT, Sister-in-Law Bridgette Anderson of Bronx, New York and Sister-in-law Abby Foster of Calgary, Canada. Beloved Host of nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored. He is preceded in death by his father Ernest Cammock Sr. of Kingston, Jamaica and his beloved mother Yolanda Laud Brown of East Hartford, and his sister Janet Gopie Williams.
Raymond Laud was born on June 22, 1957 in St. Andrew, Jamaica to Ernest Cammock Sr. and Yolanda Laud Brown. He attended St. Catherine High School in St. Catherine, Jamaica. He worked at Vanleer company in St.. Catherine, Jamaica as a machine operator . After moving to Hartford, CT Raymond began working for Beauty Enterprise as warehouse operator, and with a local Construction union. Raymond then became self-employed as " Ray's Delivery Service" his own business. Over a period of time, he became a sub-contractor for Eastern Connection and finally was a Independent Contractor for United Postal Service (UPS) From August of 1999 until August of 2017. Raymond has three wonderful children whom he loved and advised often. In his home Raymond set about teaching them how to cook, check the oil, fix certain gadgets and work hard for what they would want to accomplish. His children remember him as a loving and driven man who went after his dreams, a father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Raymond was an artist who loved singing and music. Often he would write music, listen to music, and sing in bands. He was a dedicated individual who loved his wife, children, family, friends and who was passionate about making sure they had what they needed. He loved to fish, he loved food, loved to cook and travel.

A funeral is scheduled for 10AM at the funeral home, burial will conclude services in Silver Lane Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Full Gospel Olive Tree Banquet Facility, located across the street from the church at 16 Brainard Place, Manchester, CT 06040.
