Robert M. Beaulieu

Robert “Bob” M. Beaulieu, 61, of East Hartford, beloved husband of Sharon (Lagasse) Beaulieu, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 8, 1950 in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Edmund and Leanne (Moreau) Beaulieu.

Bob married his wife Sharon in 1975; together they raised their two children in East Hartford. He started B & E Construction Co. which he ran for over 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, hockey and playing pool every Wednesday with his friends. He cherished time spent with family, always making them laugh. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his wife, Sharon of 36 years, he is survived by his son, Eric Beaulieu and his wife Lisa of East Hartford; his daughter Vicki Rampassard and her husband Percival of East Hartford; his grandchildren, Dakota Beaulieu, Cody Hayes, Jazmin, Donovan, Qeanna, Kayla and Percy Rampassard and Austin Brown; his sisters, Marielle Ouellet and her husband Robert, Claudette Beaulieu and Marcella Sirois; his brother in-law Fred Lagasse; his sister in-law Susan Dickerson; his beloved dog Ti Pit and many additional dear family members.

Funeral services will begin on Monday, October 17th, at 8:30 AM, at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108 followed by the funeral liturgy, at 10:30 AM, at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 370 May Road, East Hartford, CT 06118, burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 16th, from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
